We arrived in Leon, Spain on Monday. Today was a rest day where we shopped for some needed supplies and someone got her hair trimmed and washed.
Not much touring but we did meet up with friends for almost every meal and made it to the 6:00 pm daily mass at the Cathedral.
We also staying in an Albergue dating from the 12th Century–the early days of the Camino de Santiago. See the video. You might find it surprising.
I offered Laurie an extra day in Leon but she said no, so we’re off tomorrow for a 20 km day–fairly short.
